to smile or not...

Question.....if someone smiles all the time, are they responsible to always smile? Can they not own a day where they do not smile? Just a thought.

But it also works on the flip side....if someone doesn't smile, are they responsible to always be non-smiley? And is weird if they do smile? I'm sure I misspelled that smiley or maybe not.

....and I just noticed my lap top screen is cracked. damn.

Def not smiling.

A Frogg's Dogg!

Tanner-licious is growING! You can see some pics of his and he is just getting taller and taller by the second. Last week, on Monday, I truly realized his height. He is the taller than the length of when I go him. Homeboy loves to eat is most behaved in the kitchen, Almost every time I am getting something to drink or maybe a snacky snack, he makes his way in there and takes a seat. Real sly!! I call him stealth at times, b/c he is sneaky when he trys to escape his palace of an apt or when he surveying the floor for "droppers." An amazing dogg nonetheless. Although he has managed to knock over an XBOX, check through my apple laptop charger, several chanclas and numerous showlaces. Mind you that I need to replace them now. At least it was the lace and not the entire shoe. I'm really thankful for that.

Here are some pics for ya. There is one (the 3rd one) of Tanner taking a swing at me. What is the PETA for cruelty for owners? I'm callin! :D I love this little guy! He's snoring away as I type away. Love that lil dogg!!

Peace,
E.

P90X

I'm on day 31 of P90X! Oh and it's been a challenge to become consistent with the workouts. With training, work and school all in the mix, it's hard to round up the crew to knock it out. But nevertheless, it's going to get done and I'm going to knock it out. There is just something about a good work out to make you feel proud about yourself and what you AND ONLY YOU can do for yourself.

Big goals with P90:

Complete 10 chin ups.
Be able to develop a strong core.
Develop stronger upper body strength.
LOL and fit more comfortably into my clothes :) of course I'm throwing that in there.

Point blank, I want to run and cycle longer and stronger. Yeah, that would be amasing. Yes, as my staff would say...Amasing!

Prayer request.

Sad news. Both of my parents are feeling ill and won't be able to make the trip up this weekend. I think this would be a great chance for me to go home and get some Corpus air and get out of town for a bit. Real sad they are sick, and I really can't afford to get sick, but I might risk it. It's like the table turned and I want to be sure they are healthy and ok. If you could, say a big prayer and or send positive thoughts their way.

On a happier note, my dawg Tanner just turned 4 months this past Wednesday! Right now, he's playing with himself. No, dirties, not like that. He's got one of my old softballs he picks up and throws around to chase then catch. Pretty remarkable little guy. I wonder where he got that from. I just heard him pick up Mr. Bunny and give him a few squeezes, only to return to the softball milliseconds later.

Right now, I'm just feeling thankful. Had a good afternoon and evening filled with some good people, ambitious students and positive conversation. Definitely thankful. Blessings to you.

random.

I had the most unusual day today. My stomach jumped up and then it all went away. I was reminded of the pain and hurt.....and reminded how I have changed and how it all changes me. Odd how someone can make you feel like that, but it is us that can morph that feeling into something far opposite. I know I'm something much stronger than then-I just forgot for a second. I guess I needed that. A good smack in knowing I have some crazy hidden core strength that I need to tap into. I need to take a new look at myself.

It was an odd day.

The good stuff.... I got a job. In school. A dog. And a sense of humor. I think that about wraps it up.
