Drummmm roll please

Drummm frickin roll please!!!!

It has forever and a day since the last time I was ever on here.  So, no time like the present to get some verbage on the screen.  I have no idea who will read this, but hopefully YOU are liking life and taking advantage of your day.

I have been on this running and trying to swim kick.  Jogging is ok.  I can go for 2.4 - 3.6 miles and that might be it.  Although, I would like to take it a step (pun not intended) further and run a half marathon one day.  The most I have ever ran in one take was 5.2 miles.  It felt great and I felt like I could eat for days to recover what I lost.  Oh, but I didn't.  I'll build up to that running distance though.  Give me some time and I'm so there!

The swimming is another story.  I'm relearning and slowing getting it.  I have some friends of mine that were born in the water and swim like fish.  I'm so impressed by them b/c they can just dive in and do it up.  Impressed I am.  :)  I got all excited when I swam over the deep end of the pool.  Have you ever smiled and wanted to cheer underwater?  Yeah, that feels pretty sweet.  You can cheer too much b/c ....well, you know....there is that drowning factor.  And why are lifeguards positioned on the shallow end of the pool?  Logic would say.....actually, I don't know someone named logic, but I think it would be safer environment if the sweet lifeguards ladies were on the deep end.  no?  I went up to them before I left and suggested it to them.  They were sweet and told me they were watching me swim at it.  Snap.  No idea I was being watched, but then again everyone else that was swimming, was all AP (Advanced Placement), and I was just getting out of the remedial stages.  :)  I love it.  Have you ever seen Sandlot?  Go watch the pool scene.  Quite breathtaking actually.

Here's to you on finding my blog.  We'll see how this goes....if I will stick to it or what stuff I will put on here.  Shoot, I gotta leave some stuff for me - lol.  Gimme a break - I haven't been on here in years and that's a lifetime in internet talk.  And here's to me - let's hope I'm consistent with this swimming and running and blogging.  No matter what, I'll keep it fun.

A final thought:

If you love someone, tell them.  But only if you love them.  You'll know it if you do.  There will be no hesitation with those three words.

Rock it, don't stop it,
E.
